Here's what worked for me: hit her hard at the start and avoid getting overrun by her respawning units.

• Your steam gunman grabs the loose nugget on the left side and brings it back.
• Your other units slowly move up to Maude's claim while taking shots at any unit getting close. Especially the artillery will be instrumental in dishing out early damage to the sharp shooters.
• Wound, but don't kill enemy units until you are close to her claim, with the exception of the enemy unit grabbing the loose nugget on the right side: as long as that nugget is loose, that's what the enemy will be focussed on.
• You should have your 5 nuggets around mid-game, but are about to get overrun by the enemy's respawning units. Put your artillery or steam gunman in the enemy's choke point: it will get vaporized, but the rubble will prevent the enemy from running over and draining your claim.
• By the time the rubble clears, your units will be respawning. With full health, full tick units, you should have no trouble defending your claim and getting the required kills.
